Chapter 3: The New Guy?

I opened my eyes to a blurred vision of a bright light... I blinked a few times to focus abit...
"Ahh~ I see that you've come to your senses my little one!"
The voice sounded like an Ojii-san's.

"Ooohh My God.. That didn't feel good.." I sat up rubbing my head.
"Do not stress yourself too much little one, your powers aren't fully developed yet."
An old man who appears to be a magician. He walked to me and gave me a cup of liquid that looked like glistering tea. The smell was fragrant like flowers. I thanked him and took a sip of it.
"Mmm.. Sweet.."

"It's refreshing now isn't it? Luckily for this guy both of you came here in time, if not it'll be dangerous." The old man said. I looked at the guy, fast asleep beside my bed. Cherry blond hair, and skin as white as snow. He's... Perfect...
I was swooning in my thoughts. Sounded silly though.
Then I turned around and saw Viper asleep on another bed. The magician said that her wounds aren't that bad, and they'll heal soon.

"Now now little one, tell me, what's your name?" He asked me.
"Jackie"
"Ahh, Jackie. Your powers aren't fully developed I see? You must be the chosen one that I heard of?"
I nodded and explained how I ended up here. He chuckled abit to the part where I was scared of ghosts. He agreed to help me with some training on how to unseal my powers, and fully gain control of it. We left the house to the training grounds behind the village and left Viper and that guy to rest at home and started some basic training on how to build body stamina and soul energy.

"Now, the most important thing is Soul Energy, without it you're useless, now try and focus. Peace in mind and imagine that you were pushing the energy through your arms."
I closed my eyes, and took sometime to clear my mind. And I did as told.

--3 hours later--
I lied flat on ground, exhausted from meditating for such a long time. My legs were cramping and my backbone felt like it was gonna snap anytime now. "You've done well, now we shall rest for today. We shall continue tomorrow!" He said and brought us back to the house.

When I opened the door, Viper glomped me and hugged me like a child. "Master~!!! Where we're you!! Why did you just leave off!!?" She cried. I pat her back for a bit and calm her down. "It's alright I'm here, now calm down."
"I see that you're back and full of energy?" The guy walked out from the kitchen. He was wearing a white apron with pink bunnies on it. It looked weird but on the whole it suits him. "What are you looking at?" He said with a little blush on his cheeks. "Cooking is my specialty..." He looked away from us then snapped!
"NOW QUIT LOOKING AT THE FOOD AND COME EAT IT BEFORE IT GETS COLD!!"

Eeep! Okay that was a little bit scary... I sat down on the table, the food looked delicious indeed. I took a bite of it and sparkles! "This is yummy~" I said with a cute smile. "Don't talk with your mouth full." He said and turned his face away to hide his blush.. "Oh ya.. I don't even know your name.."

"Everything will be revealed soon." He said and finished off his bowl. After I finished my dinner I asked Viper how to get back to my human life and things like that. It was easy though. Just go sleep then try to focus on my inner power and bang I'm back baby. So I decided to go back to my house and my warm bed with my cow pillow~ *moo in the background*

"Bye you guys." I said and went to bed. My body started to fade in the other dimension. Then I was back to my own house. Seems like I was sleeping the whole time like dreaming, only thing the stress and tiredness are real. I walked to my desk and checked my emails. Then remembered I need to finish off my costume for my photo-shoot tomorrow. I finished it since it was only 7pm when I was back. I got back to bed, hopefully I'm not late tomorrow.

So I arrived at the studio where we're gonna do the photo-shoot. Luckily Mellow came to my house 2 hours earlier than the time we're gonna go. And somehow she's good at picking locks, maybe she's experienced? We started to do some make-up and get our costumes on before the photo-shoot and when we're done we gathered around to see what does the leader have to say.

"Attention! Today we have a new photographer with us. His name is Raven and he'll be one of us from today on! Raven, please step up." Just as our leader finished a guy stepped up to the crowd. The crowd started to murmur abit.
"Ehh? He looks handsome.."
"Yeah yeah.." The girls murmured
Wait he looked familiar... Could he be the guy from my dreams?? Anyway we'll find out after the photo-shoot, oh it's time to divide the groups.

"This time unfortunately we have more photographers than usual, I'll divide the groups with 1 model and 1 photographer. I'll read the names now." The leader started announcing the names. Mellow huggled me and said "I'm so excited!! I wonder who's gonna be taking my pictures? *squeeel*"

"Mellow, Kyle."
"Yesss~!! Let's go!!" Mellow said and dragged Kyle away.
"Last but not least, Jackie, you'll be with Raven. Since you're one of our finest models we'll have him take some great shoots on you."
"EEhhh??" I was a little shocked on the arrangements but it was alright I guess? Alright so we found a good spot to do some nice pictures. My costume was a sci-fi costume so we decided to use the studio instead of the others who went outdoors, so it was me and him. I did a few poses, a little nervous since I'm doing it infront of someone I don't know.
Should I ask him? No he'll think that I'm crazy! But..

The question was floating in my mind for awhile.
"Wow, I'm impressed. You look waaay cuter in the maid costume, Miss Chosen One." He said with a smirk.
"Ehh?" *image of the costume* Okay it sounded wrong! Way wrong! A magician wearing a maid costume is weird! And I didn't like it on the whole!
He walked closer and said: "You look unexpectedly sexy in that." I blushed and I can talk properly, I didn't expect that he'll pull me in for a kiss.

!!!
"You taste like strawberries." He said licking his lips. I blushed a deep red and attempted to slap him, but I got pinned to the wall.
"Let me go you idiot!!"
"Hey.. You don't happen to be a virgin now are you?" He asked and flailed on the floor laughing. I snapped and I tried to strangle him.
"WHY YOU LITTLE BRAT!! I'LL SNAP YOUR BONES AND I'LL DISPOSE YOU MOLECULE BY MOLECULE DAMMIT!"
"Alright! Alright! I'm sorry!!"

Chapter 2: Enter! The new world!

"I am your Guardian Spirit from now on. Yoroshiku, Jackiie-sama."

"Explain yourself." I said.

"I've came in the request of our king. He needs your power to save our world before it's destroyed. So I'll be in charge of your training and I will protect you from any harm for the time being."

"W-w-waaaaiit!! What?? I'm just an ordinary person what power do I have?"

"Ahh. You don't in this world. But you do in the other dimension! Remember how you killed me back then?"

--flashback--
"Ahh.. But why did you want to kill me? How would I know that you're not here to finish me off??"

"I was testing you. In order to see if you really are the chosen one. And only if I scare you, your true powers will be revealed. And it did." She finished off her sentence and took off her clothes.
"See this here? Even with my full power I couldn't heal it properly." She pointed to a wound that was still slightly bleeding..

"Did I do that??" I was a bit shocked to see that. "I-I'm so sorry. I-"

"Shush.. It's not your fault.. It is my job.."

"I.." I felt a little guilty on doing that. "What's your name?" I asked.

"I... Don't have a name.." She looked down on the floor a bit sad..

I got up to my feet and hugged her, considering that she was floating, she looked a bit taller. "Then from now on I'm gonna call you Viper!! If your job is to protect me, then I'll protect you too, Viper-chaan~!"

She paused for awhile then smiled. "Now there's no time slacking off! We need to proceed to training at once!"

"But how am I going to access the other world?" I asked her.

"Ahh I almost forgot. Here take this." She gave me what seems like a pill.
"Eat this and you'll be able to go to the other dimension in your sleep."

I took the pill and munched it. It tasted sweet. Then I did as told. I went to bed and fell asleep not long. Then I woke up to the portals earlier. "I see you've made it, now follow me." We were at a top of the mountain. "Now we have to travel to the village by foot, I can't do transportation at the moment. Sorry."

Suddenly we heard something in the nearby woods. It seems like there was a fight. "Stay here, I'll go take a look." Viper said.
A guy suddenly ran out of the woods dragging Viper with him. "H-Handsome!!" *blushed*

"Don't go into the woods when there's a fight you moron!!"
He said then a big dragon-like monster stomped through the trees.

"Uh--oh. That's not good"

"Here grab this!!" The guy passed me a scythe. I grabbed it and it glowed and somehow it just embed it's power within me. And somehow changed my outfit.

"Now think of this as a video game and kill it!!" The guy said.

"Uhh huh?? How do you know--"

"You're from the human world right? So get on with it!! Don't waste anytime!!"

Huh?? Who is this guy?? Why does he know? Anyways lets finish things. "Hiiyyaaaahh!!"
*slash* *cling*
"Raaawwwwrrrr!!!!"

"Hey behind you!!" I tried to warn him but it was too late. The dragon blasted a ball of fire to his direction and hit him. "uughh..." I ran to the guy. "H-Hey are you okay??!"
"Master behind you!!!" Viper shouted.

Luckily I was quick enough to get both of us out of the way. "Don't w-waste time! Kill it..!!"
The guy said and I left him by a tree. "Viper!! Distraction!" She nodded.
She tried to lure the dragon to a bunch of trees. "EAT THIS!!!" I stabbed the dragon's neck and killed it. Well almost??

The body shaked a bit and it turned into a 2 headed dragon?? That's not good..
"Now what??!"

"How should I know??" Viper answered.

Then it hit me! Imagination with computer games!! DotA is a life saver!! "Ice!! Viper combo hits!!"
"On it!"
I froze the thing and Viper used her souls spell to devour the dragon's life source, then before the ice breaks we broke it in to pieces.

"Now that was something cool now isn--"
*faint*

"Master!!" Viper ran to me. "Master wake up!!"

Chapter 1. Beginning

Morning--

*alarm*...

*BANG!!*

*buzz buzz*...

"SHADDAP!!!"

*BANG!!*

*turns around*

"WHAT THE MOTHER FxxxING HELL?! 10AM?!!"

*phone ringing : jingle bells~ jingle bells~*

"Hello?"

"Erm hey remember we're supposed to meet at the mall today right?"

"I-I'm on my way okay bye!!"

I rushed outta my door. Please make it in time!! So MAYBE I did overslept. I arrived at the mall just in time to meet them.
"Hey guys sorry I'm late. Lunch on me today okay?"
"Alright!!"
"Now let's go before we miss the movie." Mellow said.

Hi there! Lemme do some introductions. My name is Jackiie and I'm a normal girl with a normal life. Things are going well for me, a normal life and all. Until --

"The movie was great!!" Kyle said.
"Yay now lunch is on Jackiie~!!" Mellow added.
Everyone looked at me. Ohhhkays. I shouldn't have said that? Anyways it was my fault for being late.

I munched on my food a bit while thinking what should we do next. Just then a girl with long flowing red hair caught my sight. And somehow she seemed like she was glaring at me? Whatever then... So I turned back to my table and continued to my food.

"Hey guys I need to go to the bathroom, be right back."
I looked at the mirror and thought. I look weird. Just then I saw the girl from before. Standing right there. I turned around and I saw nothing?

"Huhh??" I was getting a little creeped out. I walked out of the washrooms and went to find my friends.
"Hey J you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost." Mellow asked

"Nah~ I'm fine." ( I wish I was )

Okay. Having a weird day?
I was relieved to get home. Considering that I lived all alone. It was quite nice and peaceful. On the other hand its a bit sad though. I took a bath and lied down on bed. I looked up the ceiling for a bit. Hmmm.. What could she be?

Suddenly I saw the girl with red hair floating on my balcony. "Come with me"
I ran to the kitchen to get a knife. "It must be a thief! Who's messing with me?!"
I sneaked back to my room and I saw nothing.
"Huh..---"

I passed out with a blow from behind. I woke up and found that I was tied up? The girl was floating infront of me. I tried to back up as far as I could. "W-what and who are you?? Why are you here??"
"Do not be afraid my little one, all shall be reveled in the other world."
"What?? What do you mean the other world? Untie me right now you xxxxxx!!"
She didn't bother to answer my question though. I was brought to a dark place with several portals. The portals seems to lead to different worlds. As I gazed off something bit me from behind. I tried to get away from whatever it was and I saw a girl. Long flowing dark hair. Drenched in blood. No, she was crying blood. What on earth could she be?

Use your imagination to save yourself.
A voice said to me in my mind. My mind was all blank. I couldn't think of anything. Then I came to my senses when the girl scratched my arm. The wound was deep. It was bleeding like hell and obviously it hurt.

I tried using my imagination and I thought of a sword maybe? I dont have time. Anything will do. A sword appeared from my hands. I tried an open attack and I was pushed away. She pinned me on the floor and when she wanted to kill me I reached my sword just in time to stab her. Then she melted into a puddle of tar and then disappeared. So what the hell happened?

I felt dizzy and I fell to the floor.

I woke up the next morning on my bed with the sunlight peeking through my windows. My head hurt and I think I've had the worst nightmare ever in my life.
"Glad to know it wasn't real." I said to myself. *ouch*
I took a look at my right arm. The wound from me dreams? It couldn't be now could it? It was still bleeding. I got up quickly and treated it.
It couldn't be possible and could it? I must be dreaming. I tried pinching myself and it hurt and obviously I'm awake.

"Ahh. I see that you're awake." A gentle voice said from behind me.
I turned back and I fell right off my chair, seeing that she was the girl that I killed yesterday?
She looked a lot nicer now. She's abit more cleaner. But still drenched in blood. Long flowing dark hair, and a pair of big sapphire eyes. She looked beautiful. But she looked sad and lonely, so is this why she's crying blood?
I snapped out of my thoughts and then I came back to my senses. She's a ghost now isnt' she??!
I backed up 3 feet from her and said "W-what the hell do you want from me??!"

"I am here to serve you, Master"
Huh?? Serve? Master? That sounded wrong.
"Did someone ask you to come trick me or something??!"
"I do not know anything about that. I was sent from the Demon's World in order to assist you."
"Well I didn't hire a maid so stop scaring me!!"

I didn't wanna listen. It was scary the fact that there's a ghost in my house right in front of me saying weird things. She tried to get closer to me and I said "Drink my blood or anything just leave me alone!!" I closed my eyes tight.

She put her hands on my wound and a light green glow started to form. She pulled of the bandage and the wound was gone? I looked up to her. That warm smile on her face. I've never had anyone to take care of me before, nor someone to actually talk to, she seemed... Nice...

"I am your Guardian Spirit from now on. Yoroshiku, Jackiie-sama."
